1. The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel
Whether you are having a breathtaking reception to an intimate wedding ceremony or rehearsal, the wedding specialists at the Amway Grand Plaza can help you customize every detail of your wedding. They have rooms that accommodate 40-500 guests. Your guests will love the cuisine that is customized for your event, as well as amazing wedding cakes. To add to your day, they offer plenty of other services too! They offer guest rooms and suites which are perfect for the getting ready stage of your wedding, as well as a place for your guests to stay after the wedding. You can make your wedding day even more beautiful with a visit to the Spa and Salon at the Amway Grand Plaza. They offer skin and body treatments, manicures, pedicures, and full hair salon services, all without having to leave the hotel. You can also arrange for these services in your room. The Grand Rapids location is perfect for ceremonies and receptions, or receptions only. Boasting beautiful marble pillars, it makes for a location to be admired. In the hotel itself, no two rooms are alike. The master rooms have expansive living spaces and oversized soaking tubs with king sized beds. 3. The Cheney Place
The Cheney Place is a warehouse for those who can't wait to design their "urban meets vintage meets modern" event. The building will woo you with it's polished concrete and original hard wood floors, its frosted warehouse windows, and it's turn of the century freight elevator. They also host the areas larges collection of vintage furniture rentals onsite to make design a whole lot easier. There is 20,000 square feet of open floor plan that they can divide however you would like for up to 350 people. Free onsite parking is a huge bonus in the city. The Cheney Place can accommodate up to 225 peel for ceremonies and have upgrade options available for seating and decorations.
4. The Ballroom at McKay
The Ballroom at McKay is an unique and elegant wedding venue in Grand Rapids. The remodeled 10,900 square foot event space can accompany intimate gatherings and ground breaking events both large and small. The luxurious event space features classic marble interior and subtle contemporary touches. The Ballroom at McKay can host up to 200 guests for seated wedding receptions and include beautiful Mahogany Venice chairs. 5. The High Five GR
The High Five GR is a unique and versatile venue in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. The beautifully renovated and expansive loft space is the best in "old world meets new". Original, roller-rink hardwood floors and exposed classic brick combine with extraordinary chandeliers and hip artisan tile glass to evoke a current and fresh vibe that your guests will remember. High wood beamed ceilings with metal tresses, and large windows to view the city scape are some of the highlights. Here is a quote from a recent bride: "Absolutely loved this venue.
